Master Data Management
Operational Master Data Management Software.
Create one governed source of truth for the operational structures behind your assurance processes.
The operational master data management software of AssuriCore helps organizations manage contractor companies, physical locations, work unit groups and work units through one controlled hierarchy. It clearly separates imported source data from information managed within AssuriCore.
As a result, every connected workflow, dashboard and responsibility structure uses consistent and trusted operational data.

Why it matters
Reliable assurance starts with reliable operational data.
Assurance processes depend on accurate information about organizations, assets, locations and responsibilities. When this foundation is unclear, problems spread into workflows, reports and decisions.
AssuriCore creates a controlled operational structure that teams can understand and trust.
-
One trusted hierarchy
Organize contractor companies, locations, work unit groups and individual work units in one consistent structure.
-
Clear data ownership
See which information comes from an external source and which information authorized users can manage in AssuriCore.
-
Responsibilities at the right level
Assign responsible teams and people to an individual work unit or to a group of units managed together.
The challenge
Stop operational data from becoming fragmented.
Operational data often comes from several systems and teams. Contractor and work unit records may come from an enterprise data warehouse. Locations, groups and responsibilities may need to be managed within the assurance platform.
Without clear governance, organizations can face:
-
inconsistent names and structures
-
unclear ownership of work units
-
duplicate records or hierarchies
-
responsibilities assigned at the wrong level
-
manual corrections that conflict with source systems
-
unreliable information in assurance workflows
A shared structure prevents these issues from becoming embedded throughout the platform.
The solution
Govern source data without losing operational flexibility.
AssuriCore Master Data Management combines protected source information with manageable operational structures.
Contractor companies and work units can be imported from trusted enterprise systems. Their source-owned fields remain protected. Meanwhile, authorized administrators can add physical locations, create work unit groups and assign operational responsibilities.
This approach preserves the integrity of external data while supporting the way teams actually manage their operations.
How it works
From source data to trusted operational structure.
Master Data Management follows a structured workflow that separates source-controlled data from portal-managed data. Users can view imported contractor companies and work units, then organize them into physical locations or work unit groups where relevant.
1.
Import trusted source data.
Contractor companies and work units are imported from the connected enterprise data warehouse. Key source fields remain read-only in AssuriCore.
2.
Build operational hierarchy.
Place work units beneath the correct contractor company, physical location or work unit group.
3.
Create physical locations.
Authorized administrators can create and maintain locations that are not available in external source systems. These may include bases, workshops or operational sites.
4.
Group related work units.
Combine work units that share the same type, responsible team or operational management structure.
5.
Assign responsibilities.
Assign responsible teams and people at the correct level. This may include roles such as Contract Holder, Senior Well Engineer, Well Engineer or Site Supervisor.
6.
Validate and publish.
Check the hierarchy for missing responsibilities, invalid relationships and incomplete records. Once validated, the trusted structure becomes available across connected AssuriCore modules.
Product experience
Designed around source clarity and hierarchy control.
The interface should make it obvious which data is imported, which data is editable and where responsibility is managed. Users should not have to guess whether a field can be changed or whether it belongs to the source system, the portal hierarchy or the group level.
Capabilities
Core master data management capabilities.
Master Data Management combines source-system alignment, hierarchy management, grouping logic and responsibility assignment into one controlled data-management experience.
Source-system integration
Import trusted contractor and work unit information from an enterprise data warehouse or another approved source.
Physical location management
Add and maintain operational locations that are not controlled by external systems.
Work unit grouping
Manage several work units together when they share the same responsibilities or operating model.
Responsibility assignment
Connect teams and responsible people to the assets and structures they manage.
Protected source fields
Prevent users from changing information that remains owned by an external source system.
Validation and access control
Apply permissions, naming rules and validation checks before information is used elsewhere.
Controlled deactivation
Retain historical relationships while removing inactive portal-managed records from active use
Benefits
What teams gain in practice.
Master Data Management helps teams trust the structure behind their assurance workflows. It reduces ambiguity around source data, protects imported values and gives administrators a controlled way to organize assets for real operational use.
More reliable operational data
Teams work with one consistent structure instead of maintaining competing lists and interpretations.
Clearer ownership
Users can immediately see who manages a company, location, group or work unit.
Fewer manual corrections
Protected source fields reduce accidental changes and repeated reconciliation between systems.
Stronger assurance workflows
Audits, compliance activities and operational processes use the same validated reference data.
Less duplicated work
Group-level management allows teams to maintain shared responsibilities once instead of repeating them for every work unit.
Better system integration
A controlled hierarchy provides connected AssuriCore modules with stable and consistent operational information.

Who it's for
Built for teams that depend on trusted structures.
The operational master data management software of AssuriCore supports organizations that need reliable contractor, asset and responsibility data before assurance processes can work properly.
It is especially relevant for:
Portal and application administrators.
Operational data owners.
Data governance teams.
Contractor management teams.
Well engineering teams.
HSE and HSEQ teams.
Audit and assurance teams.
Operational support teams.
Built with control
Source-owned data stays protected.
AssuriCore distinguishes between information owned by external systems and information managed within the platform.
External systems can remain responsible for contractor companies and work unit records. AssuriCore then adds the operational context needed for assurance, including locations, work unit groups, responsible teams and accountable roles.
Users can clearly see which fields they may change. In addition, group-managed values remain protected at individual work unit level. This prevents conflicting assignments and keeps shared responsibilities consistent.
